I was on the paternity leave and went to work for the first time in two weeks. I guess 'two weeks' is my limitation since any longer vacation may lessen my diligence... One of my colleague, Jose, told me that he has just started a new project. While he teaches some intraoperative MRI techniques to Latin America countries using his Spanish speaking skill, he can get some salary from some MRI company, which I thought is a great idea. He also told that he is currently flying through 25 countries to propagandize MRI technique at least once a month, which has been supported by the company. He is always bragging about his work, but he is still lovable because he exactly looks like a QP-chan for his bald head and plump body. He gave me some pressure saying, "If you are here, you have to find something new that you can pitch yourself by. Otherwise, you can do that even in your country?". Mmm, that's exactly true. But, I still think I am not capable of it. I have to keep my both feet on the ground. For the time being, my only self-praise is that I was chosen as a speaker for the 2010 AANS plenary session held in 5/2009, which is not as good as his work, I think.
